Family Engagement Initiative Counties

The Pennsylvania State Roundtable established the Family Engagement Initiative (FEI) in May of 2017. Pennsylvania counties interested in the FEI complete an application process. Once selected, counties enter the FEI in phases. All FEI counties have demonstrated strong court/child welfare agency collaboration and a desire to enhance family engagement strategies to produce the best possible outcomes for children and families in the child welfare system.

The Family Engagement Initiative Counties are:

2018 Phase 1: Clinton, Northampton, Union

2019 Phase 2: Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Snyder, Tioga, Venango

2020 Phase 3: Dauphin, Lehigh, Northumberland, Philadelphia

2021 Phase 4: Bradford, Lycoming, Washington

2024 Phase 5: Erie, Juniata, Luzerne, Potter, Warren
